a ship lost in the sea of dead

once afraid and always lost

I've seen the light, that shined so bright

how could this be happening to me?

motionless, heart-beating violently inside of my chest

you reached in and filled me with love

I couldn't believe this was happening to me

So lost, but yet found

I strayed off path

I stand alone, while the waves crash upon me

While i just stand here faceless

nothing seems real at this point

Open the window, let me make my escape

climb a ladder to get closer to you

but i fall off, back into the abyss

all this love but none left for me

As i lay here

i can hear the voice of a 1,000 angels

Saying, don't give up my son

the testament of love has just begun

i feel a presence upon me

i lock up my heart to keep you in

lord don't leave me
